Miracle Veneer Trimmer FAQ
Sliding Table Saws and The MVT
Table Saws and the MVT

HOW LONG HAS THE MIRACLE VENEER TRIMMER BEEN IN USE?

The first generation, a 48" model, was designed and fabicated in 1982 and is still in use. The current design dates from 1990 and that 96" table saw model has been in continual use since then.

WHAT PARTS HAVE WORN OUT OVER THE YEARS.

The first models used maple guide bars for the table saw miter slots. The wore out every 5 years or so. Alloy steel guide bars have solved this problem. All of the other parts are original. The only part that has potential wear are the clamp pads which we make as a replacement item.

CAN THE TABLE SAW VERSION BE SWITCHED TO THE PORTABLE CIRCULAR SAW VERSION AND VICE VERSA.

No, the evolution of the stationary version has advanced to the point where there are too many variables in the installation of the guide mechanism and support chanel. This model is now a very sophisticated piece of equipment.

DO THE GAS SPRINGS MAKE A DIFFERENCE ON THE 96" SLIDING TABLE SAW MODEL?

They are not necessary. The Pivot Arms will hold the Clamp Frame up just as with the 48" Model. However they are more convenient. With a simple one handed motion yoiu can lift the Clamp Frame out of the way from any location along the Cutting Edge.
